Its a way to show my love for the subject and write mostly my opinions on the subject aside giving the basic information. I find it as a personal site to show my love and maybe interest someone into the subject.

For me, it’s any site that expresses and elaborates the owner’s love for a subject! It doesn’t matter in which way, or what the subject in question is. If the love is there, I think it qualifies as a shrine.

quick info about exo:

exo debuted with 12 members in 2012, formed in 2011 through sm entertainment. exo had sub units which contained exo-k and exo-m; exo-k performs in korean while exo-m performs in mandarin. the members in exo-k were suho, kai, chanyeol, sehun, kyungsoo and baekhyun. members in exo-m were kris, tao, luhan, lay, xiumin and chen.

in 2014-15, kris, luhan and tao departed ways admid legal battles with sm. so therefore, exo became a 9 member group. new sub-units like exo-cbx and exo-cs were made.

the reason why i listed them as a part of my shrine is because i invested all of my blood, sweat and tears for exo. in 2011-13, i have kept up with every notifications about exo. kept up with what shows they were going to be featured in, what reality show they were going to make, literally just everything they do i would keep up to date about them.

do you own any albums? sadly no. i was still in school and i grew up with not that much money so i couldn't afford to buy any albums. at that time, my family wasn't fond of me and my sister listening to kpop and were against it very much. i instead had to download their music to my cheap mp3 player through the family computer we had. it didn't matter what music they released i would download in a heartbeat. i even made a tumblr to express my love for exo. back when accounts would post edits of exo such as graphic edits to simple ones. example; here! you can check out their tags for which members they edited for!



one of my favorite albums that exo made was their xoxo album. all the songs were just incredible and nice to listen too. i would have to say my favorite songs from the album were baby don't cry, black pearl, don't go, peter pan and baby. but i really loved all the songs. the chinese versions were also so nice to listen to too! especially don't go and baby don't go too!!

i remember exo did those ringtones. cringe i know.

basically, i spent most of my times just loving exo. they were my comfort zone. i defended them with my whole heart. i have loved them for so long that when kris, tao and luhan left my heart broke. and then after that, loving exo has been distant to me until this day. i still do support them but it's just not the way it used to be. (that is quite hypocritical of me to just dip and leave lol)

my bias will forever be chen. i am so happy he is married to the one he loves. supporting your bias' happines should be your #1 priority as a fan.
